BRANSON, Mo – The Branson Public Works Department would like to make drivers aware of a temporary westbound lane closure on W. Hwy 76 from Long Horn Steakhouse to the Baldknobbers Country Restaurant throughout the month of January to accommodate large construction equipment for Wonder Works.
The utility contractor for WonderWorks has requested the lane closure to accommodate equipment in the right of way. Portable message boards have been placed on Hwy. 76 at Presley’s Theater and at Track 4 advising drivers of the temporary lane closure. Portable signs and barriers will be in place to guide pedestrian and vehicle traffic safely around the construction site.
The temporary lane closure will begin Monday, January 6, 2020, and is estimated to be completed by January 26, 2020. The hours of construction will be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Motorists traveling in this area are encouraged to be aware of signage and work crews in the Work Zone.
